Rauf Ersenal has spent a long time researching the cultural heritage sent abroad from Cyprus. Thanks to the international symposiums organized in his country, he is trying to bring these artifacts back to his country, even if symbolically. He has many experimental works especially on ceramic artifacts.
About Rauf Ersenal
Rauf Ersenal is dedicated to developing the fields of ceramics and experimental archaeology research. He is committed to the study of ancient Cypriot ceramics, clay and pigment materials, ancient construction techniques and firing methods. He strives to encourage the exchange of knowledge and participation among enthusiasts passionate about these subjects. One of our main focuses is the development of alternative natural linings for Terra Sigillata.

Featured Publication
In 2014, the author's articles published in a local magazine were turned into a book. This book, titled The Unknown History of Cyprus, was published in Turkish by Limassol Cooperative Bank. The author still continues to write articles about his research. He is also preparing his second book.
